I use the food journal at www.myfitnesspal.com. I would like to add the caloric and any available info into their food bank. Could you do this for me or could someone please E-mail me the number of calories in one tablespoon? Thank=you so much.

That is nice to definitely find a site where the blogger knows what they are talking about.

I do not believe I've seen this depicted in such a way before. You really have clarified this for me. Thank you!

Autumn Olive is such an invasive (non-native) shrub that is taking over many of Michigan's wildlands, especially our rare savannas & prairies. This is a great way to use the tasty, edible "berries" or drupes and help keep the shrub from spreading further! Please pick more!

I purchased a jar of the preserves last spring on a trip across the Upper Penninsula of Michigan and loved the taste. I wish that I had bought more than one jar. I used it as sparingly as I could. Thanks again for introducing me to this wonderful berry!

Thank you for that comment. I too love this preserve. It's a new concept for many so it's off to a slow start, but most who adventure into a jar surface as very loyal fans.

For me it's the subtlety of plum with the zing of lime!

Enjoy!
