Food For Thought Named Business of the Year 2007

Food For Thought, Inc. has been named "Business of the Year 2007." by the Benzie County Chamber of Commerce. They were honored at the Chamber's annual dinner on October 23rd at Crystal Mountain Resort.
Selection Process
The Chamber's Annual Meeting Committee had the responsibility of selecting this year's Business of the Year. The members were impressed not only with the success of the "Green Cuisine" events, they cited several other attributes that more than qualified Food For Thought, Inc. for this recognition. Timothy Young, founder and President, has been a champion of "green" and regional thinking. In an age of going overseas for products and labor, Food For Thought is showing individuals and businesses in the greater regional area that buying and producing locally is not only good - but good business.
Guided by Timothy's vision, Food For Thought, has planted a seed of hope in the region. Timothy has "walked the talk". He has been a conscientious employer; always applying his vision while providing employment for a growing number of Benzie County area residents.
